Corporate social responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility plays a big piece in events at Chelsea and we're committed to reducing our impact on the environment. In 2007 Chelsea became the first football club to join the Green 500 Campaign, pledging to reduce carbon emissions by 10% by the end of 2011.
We've installed energy efficient lighting and now recycle 100% of our waste via recycling initiatives and reusing it to generate power.
Chelsea Football Club was proud to win 'Sustainability in Sport' of the People and Environment Achievement (PEA) Awards 2011.
