Snapchat take to the pitch at Stamford Bridge

The multi-media messaging app Snapchat, brought their team along to Stamford Bridge to experience an awayday with a difference.

The team utilised multiple function rooms throughout the stadium, including Events at Club Chelsea’s most recent development, Westview, where they hosted interactive talks and workshops with their employees. The adaptable nature of the space and abundance of natural light, lends itself perfectly to this form of immersive panel talks, networking and a variety of other informal events.


The highlight of the day for many, was the football tournament that took place at Stamford Bridge – a once in a lifetime opportunity for the team to gain otherwise restricted access to the Blues’ holy turf.

While the team partook in a match, those that weren’t playing could spectate from the side-lines, before enjoying well-earned food and beverages provided by Chelsea’s award-winning catering provider, Levy.

Once the event came to a close, one Snapchat employee stated “this has been the best day of my life” 

The event organiser fed back: “The staff at the club were great across the board, the venue staff were very helpful and easy to work with, especially with dealing with last minute adjustments and requests. The foundation staff were engaging and entertaining and really helped to carry the value of the play on the pitch part of the package.”
