Trivago turns Stamford Bridge into Stamford Beach!
Chelsea Football Club fans have always followed their club over land and sea. And now, after months of social distancing and lockdown, trivago, a leading global accommodation search platform and iconic travel brand, joins the Pride of London as the club’s Official Training Wear Partner.
To celebrate the new partnership, Stamford Bridge was turned into Stamford Beach!
The two worlds, travel and football, collided as trivago hosted a VIP event at the Bridge, turning our pitch into a tropical island decked out with a sandy beach and striking tiki bar. Captains Cesar Azpilicueta and Magdalena Eriksson took advantage of some tropical fun, and they were joined there by Thomas Tuchel and Emma Hayes, with the quartet all showcasing the new 2021/22 training kit featuring trivago.
The Club Chelsea meetings and events team supported through overseeing the transformation of the pitch into holiday worthy beach, for the day-long event.
